BETTER HOUSING TOGETHER

Challenge: Eugene is home to the second tightest housing market in the nation, after Seattle. Nearly half of local residents can barely afford basic necessities and housing costs. Concerned residents created Better Housing Together to address this issue, and needed a logo, infographics and other materials to raise awareness as it worked toward solutions.

Solution: Collaborating with the steering committee, we created a logo that incorporated a friendly, approachable font and warm colors, along with different sizes and colors of hands. Choices relayed a subtle message of grassroots community building, while the hands depict diverse housing options. We designed an infographic to clearly illustrate what is happening in our community. Later, we developed an infographic highlighting significant achievements and 40-plus partners.
