In a post last month, we mentioned we’d been selected as one of Oregon Business magazine’s 100 Best Green Companies to Work For.
Well, since then we found out how we ranked: No. 72, baby!
Who else can say that? That’s right. Nobody.
“We’re ready to start trash talking No. 73 right now,” says Nichole Hayward, CAWOOD senior account executive who also serves as sustainability coordinator. “Or if they’d rather, we could just go for a bike ride and talk recycling.”
We want to thank Oregon Business magazine for compiling this list in the first place.
“We try to have a lighter footprint because it’s the right thing to do,” Nichole says. “But this list is great because it encourages businesses to think more about sustainability. A little healthy competition is a good thing.”
Yes. So watch out next year, No. 71!
